Latitude Run Braya Hydraulic Lift Up Storage Upholstered Platform Bed

A bed that swallows six months of storage is the best trade you can make in a small bedroom. This one is currently doing it for about a third of its list price.

The Braya’s platform lifts on hydraulic pistons, turning the entire area under the mattress into accessible storage — where off-season clothes, spare bedding, and luggage go to stop crowding your closet. The pistons do the lifting, so you’re not wrestling a plywood panel with one hand.

The rest is well judged. A horizontally grooved wingback headboard gives it a tailored, upholstered-suite look instead of a budget-frame look. The slatted base supports a mattress directly, so there’s no box spring to buy, and the frame is rated to 800 pounds. It sits flush to the floor, which visually settles a room rather than raising it.

Two things worth knowing before you commit: it’s sized for a 10- to 12-inch mattress, and while every part arrives labeled and numbered — with hardware tucked into a zippered compartment in the headboard — assembly is a real project, not a twenty-minute job.

Listed at $1,044.87 and currently $359.99, it’s the rare storage bed that costs less than the storage furniture it replaces.
