Their max budget is $850k, including renovations, and they feel defeated in the current market. “You get emotionally invested—you kind of fall in love with a house,” Natalia says, “And you really hope for that. And you go through all the paperwork, and this and that, and then it doesn’t work out. Pop of Personality in the Kitchen

Natalia and Ben wanted to get the best bang for their buck without compromising on style or function. They were aiming for Spanish influence with plenty of color while still feeling updated and modern. Going with prefab cabinetry helped them save here, while the pretty blue tile and colorful artwork added that splash of personality.

They also raised the awkward long window, so cabinetry could run right beneath it for a more put-together look—and offer them that extra counter space.

Cozy and Colorful Living Space

The living room is where Natalia, Ben, and Isaac are going to spend a lot of their time, and they wanted it to feel comfortable and inviting for everyone: family, friends, neighbors, and in their own day-to-day. With a large sectional made for lounging and plenty of personal touches, this space can now bring everyone together to unwind and connect.

Spa-Like Bathroom

In the bathroom, Natalia and Ben wanted something that felt serene and relaxing, but also functional for daily life, especially since it was going to be a shared space. Repositioning the door to the bathroom made all the difference in the overall footprint. They were able to redesign the layout to accommodate more organization and storage, plus a gorgeous soaker tub with bright, colorful blue tiles.
