Award-winning movie star Glenn Close had dreamed of giving her friend Robin a custom backyard retreat. When Glenn founded her mental health organization, Bring Change to Mind, Robin was the very first volunteer to sign up.

Design Highlights
Lounging in Nature
Robin loves the outdoors, so we created a cozy, coastal-inspired deck for her to enjoy the beautiful New England nature.
Bringing Peace
Inside, Glenn wanted to design a space that could function as both a solitary retreat and a gathering spot. The warm natural lighting gives the living room a peaceful atmosphere, but the comfortable furniture makes it easy for Robin to host Bring Change to Mind meetings, too.
Crafting Memories
Why choose between a bedroom and a craft room when you can have both? From the closet to the ample windows, it can function as a guest room when Robin has company. But for the rest of the year, it can be her private crafting hub.
