What to Write on Christmas Gift Tags
If you choose to print our free gift tags single-sided, each one will be left blank on the back. Here, you can either choose to leave it as-is, or you can write any message you’d like to loved ones. It doesn’t matter what you write, as long as it comes from the heart! If you want to be silly, you can write a cute pun or inside joke (“It was either this or socks” and “Santa said I could take credit for this one” are a couple of our favorites!) If you want to be sweet, a heartfelt note is always appreciated. Make it short, though, since there’s not much space to write a full letter. Something as simple as “Christmas wishes with love” is sincere and to-the-point.
How to Attach a Holiday Gift Tag
It’s simple, but it’s important to do it right! Simply use craft scissors to cut out these gift tags, then make a small hole at the top of the gift tag with a hole puncher. Set the tag aside, and wrap your present. After the present is wrapped with paper and ribbon, cut another smaller piece of ribbon or string to string through the hole you made in the gift tag. Attach it by tying it around the ribbon wrapped around the gift box. If your gift is wrapped using a bag, simply tie the stringed gift tag around the handle. Alternatively, you can also just attach the gift tag to the box or bag using tape, if you don’t have a hole puncher.
