That’s right, the duo is back with a brand-new show, and it’s airing soon. On March 15, expect to see Drew and Jonathan back on your screens in Property Brothers: Under Pressure. The series will premiere on HGTV, and the 14-episodes will follow the Bros as they help homebuyers make big decisions that will ultimately change their lives.
“Our buyers want the perfect house in the ideal location, but many times Jonathan and I have to counsel them on how to best stretch their dollar in this competitive real estate market,” Drew says. “It can be hard to find something move-in ready, which is why we look for the diamond in the rough that we can turn into an amazing home with the right renovation.”
Whether they’re weary of the commitment, in need of a pro to help them make the most informed decisions, or grappling with the big-ticket purchase, these homebuyers are searching for expert advice—and that’s why Drew and Jonathan are there to help. After navigating the ins and outs of home buying, the Bros will then help them through the process of renovation: offering advice to incorporate stylish, smart design solutions, and how to keep it all on budget. Every step of the way, expect to see Drew and Jonathan find creative fixes for the most tasking renovation woes, so these owners can finally settle into a home that’s functional, beautiful, and fitted for their families.

In their new show, Drew and Jonathan help worried buyers make confident, informed decisions on the biggest purchase of their lives: a home. Drew and Jonathan will help guide families through the entire buying process—navigating some of the most competitive markets to date; the sticker shock (and the unexpected costs) becoming a reality; realistic personal wish lists and harsh compromises; and the emotional and financial impact. After the home is purchased, the Bros then help these clients incorporate functional design and explore renovation ideas within budget to help them create a dream home.

What’s the premiere episode about?
In the new series premiere, Drew and Jonathan help AJ and Carin—empty nesters who lost everything in the devastating Eaton fire. They’re asking the Bros for help to find their next home and make a fresh start after tragedy. During the process of house hunting, though, they’re met with discouragement: They get outbid on a dream turn-key house.
“We’re very honest and upfront with clients about how challenging the house hunt can be,” Jonathan says. “We encourage them to see past a home’s current state and envision its untapped potential, which can be tough. But when the ideal property pops up, they’ve got to be ready to make an offer and then trust us to create a design that fits their family’s needs.”
Once they finally score a winning price on a property with a detached rental unit, the Bros help AJ and Carin plan out some much-needed updates to turn it into a home they’ll love, like a thoughtfully designed office, an overhaul on the rental unit that includes a kitchenette, a beautifully-tiled bathroom shower, wall-to-wall storage in the bedroom, and a host’s dream backyard, complete with an outdoor kitchen and stylish seating.
