The rumors are true: Celebrity IOU is coming back for its new season, and we can’t wait to share what’s in store. So let’s ring in the new year with the Bros! You can check out the season premiere of Celeb IOU on Monday, January 1st at 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. All season, in each hour-long episode, you’ll get to see some of your favorite A-list stars surprise their loved ones with home renos, with the help of Drew and Jonathan. By demoing walls, customizing home interiors, and gifting friends and families with a well-deserved home rehab, Drew and Jonathan make each renovation a dream come true for these celebrities’ favorite people.
This season may be the best one yet, as redesigns get more detailed and timelines are even tighter than usual. But each remodel gets every ounce of hard work and creativity necessary to make the space magical. “Every little moment working on these heartfelt renovations is incredibly meaningful,” said Jonathan. “Drew and I can’t wait to help each celebrity tackle renovation and design while also having fun in the process. It’s all part of the journey that makes the big reveals for their loved ones even more worth it.”
“The celebrities jump right in season after season because of their gratitude for amazing people,” said Drew. “Every reveal is an emotional roller coaster. Nothing is sweeter than handing the keys back to someone who is truly deserving of a life-changing home renovation.”
We even have a little sneak peek of the premiere: At 8:00 p.m. we kick things off with Ray Romano, who wants to completely remodel the main suite of his close friend and assistant of 23 years. They’re going for a boutique luxury room, complete with beautiful bedroom built-ins as well as a gorgeous spa bathroom made of Italian marble and a soaking tub. Then, at 9:00 p.m., Anna Faris works to surprise her best friend of 24 years with a modern, eclectic kitchen and dining room. (Complete with a hidden speakeasy bar!)
This season is jam-packed with inspiring makeovers, like a serene backyard restoration boasting a writing and yoga studio, as well as a main-floor redesign that shines a bright new light on a contemporary style.
