Have you been keeping up with the Drew & Jonathan YouTube channel? Well if not, what are you waiting for?! The Bros are going head-to-head on our brand-new House Stumpers challenge, and it’s a can’t-miss event. Recently launched exclusively on YouTube, House Stumpers is putting Drew and Jonathan’s real estate mastery to the test by asking them to correctly guess the price of real homes all over the United States.
The Bros have to use their realty skills and strategies to separately estimate the sale price of the properties shown. Here’s the thing, though—they only get to see five photos of each house! Whoever is closest to the actual price wins that round, and whoever gets the best two out of three wins the challenge. The loser has to pull a punishment out of the Punishment Bucket (you’ll know what we mean when you see the videos…)
The Bros will be looking at a ton of properties—and you won’t believe these homes! From beachfront havens to mountain cabins and ultra-modern abodes, there are some seriously shocking spaces out there. In guessing certain properties, the Bros were right on the nose with their estimated price, but in others, they were millions—yes, millions—off!
Want to go head-to-head alongside the Bros? Watch and play along with them, and comment if you did better at guessing the prices than Drew and Jonathan. Also, make sure you’re subscribed to the Drew & Jonathan YouTube page, and turn on the notification bell so you know exactly when a new video drops. Happy house stumping!
House Stumpers: Beachfront Properties
In our very first House Stumpers, the Bros are talking all things fun in the sun—that means beachfront properties, people! From the East Coast to the sunny Southern states, each home is unique in style, build type, and more. There’s even local trivia involved with each round, for those who like to test their regional fact skills. (Ahem, do you know what species of whale is most commonly spotted in the waters of Cape Cod?) And if you’re anything like us, some of these beachfront homes will certainly leave you wondering after you discover the real sale price!
Austin, Texas
On their second House Stumpers YouTube video, Drew and Jonathan are checking out Austin, Texas! (Did you know they filmed season 3 of the Property Brothers in Austin a whopping 13 years ago? Where has the time gone?!) “Austin is really great—it’s got so many incredible restaurants and the entertainment vibe—and it’s a really, really cool city,” Jonathan says. And we can definitely see that through the wide variety of home listings that they’re exploring. They’re checking out three houses that range from an ultra-modern build with sleek amenities to a short-term rental home with plenty of marble finishes. And the Bros even grace the video with an old song they wrote. Yeah, you don’t want to miss this.
Atlanta, Georgia
“Atlanta is probably a terrible city to pick for a contest like this because Atlanta is so random—with pricing and different neighborhoods—and it’s so spread out, as well,” Jonathan says. Well, we’ll have to see how that bodes for the Bros’ success guessing the price of these homes! These properties ranged from $200K to nearly $1 million—so needless to say, Drew and Jonathan weren’t wrong about the unpredictability of Atlanta home values. And to put even more pressure on this week, they’re adding a twist to the punishment bucket: If you lose all three House Stumpers challenges, you have to pick two punishments out of the bucket. Let the games begin!
