Hampton Bay Smart 24 ft. Color-Changing LED String Lights

Backyard parties, meet your new favorite guest. These Hampton Bay smart string lights hang 12 shatter-resistant, Edison-style LED bulbs along a 24-foot black cord, then hand the mood over to your phone. Pick from millions of colors, dial in warm or cool white for an everyday glow, or flip on Party Mode and watch the bulbs flash in sync with your playlist. If you’re still comparing looks, our roundup of the best decorative outdoor string lights is a great place to start.

Everything runs through the Hubspace app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with no hub required, and the lights work with Alexa and Google for voice control. You can change the color of individual bulbs, adjust brightness and flashing speed, or choose a preset holiday theme. The weather-resistant, commercial-grade build is designed for year-round use, and you can link up to five 24-foot sets to one controller when your backyard needs more coverage. Styling tip: Zigzag the strand over a patio or dining area for a café feel, keep it on warm white for weeknight dinners, and save the color shows for celebrations. Jonathan’s backyard party ideas and our patio design ideas will help you set the rest of the scene.
