2 quarts fresh apple cider
1 large Bosc pear, cored and cut into thin wedges
1/2 medium orange, sliced, plus more orange slices for serving
1 cinnamon stick
1 piece (1 inch) fresh ginger, sliced
1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1. In a 4-to-6-quart slow cooker, mix the cider, pear, 1/2 sliced orange, cinnamon stick, ginger, and vanilla. Cover and cook on low until flavors meld, 3 to 4 hours.
2. Ladle into mugs. Garnish with remaining orange slices.
