Brother Vs. Brother: Exterior & Winner Reveal – Season 8, Episode 6
Brother Vs. Brother Season 8: No Rules, One Winner
It’s the grand finale of Brother vs. Brother! For this challenge, Drew and Jonathan are tackling the exterior of their properties. However, this time, the judges will be the buyers themselves. Whoever can rake in the most profits will be crowned the overall winner, so it’s a showdown to see who can make the most of their remaining budget and finish strong.

Drew’s Hillside Hospitality
I’ve already gone way over my budget, but I can start cutting corners now. Every dollar I put into the exterior will come to me in the final sale, so I plan to transform the backyard into a three-tiered, private oasis.

All Hands on Deck
On the first tier, I added a beautiful composite deck to create a resort vibe. It’s a great spot to soak up the sun and relax before exploring the rest of the backyard.

Mediterranean Dining
The second tier has a Mediterranean-inspired outdoor kitchen and dining area. It’s an entertainer’s dream, thanks to separate spaces for guests to enjoy, like the shaded dining zone and a fire pit perfect for long chats.

Designer Living
On the third tier, I turned the shed into a designer studio. From the luxury French doors to the colorful wallpaper, it will feel less like a place to throw old power tools and more like an additional retreat for the owners.

Jonathan’s Oceanside Bliss
It all comes down to numbers at this point. While Drew may have a bigger backyard, the walkout from the main bedroom suite I added previously has the potential to transform the space into a private, personal retreat.

Chic Contrast
After finishing the siding, I applied light stucco to the front exterior. Add in the black cedar fence and accents, and together they create a striking, modern first impression that will excite any potential buyer.

Outdoor Luxury
Selling a house is all about selling a lifestyle as well. When buyers see how they can step out from their bedrooms into a luxurious outdoor kitchen, they’ll start fantasizing about amazing cookouts and barbecues they might have never considered before.

Hole-in-One
I wanted to use every inch of the property, so behind the ADU I added a putting green. Whether someone is always looking for a chance to practice their swing or prefers to stick to putt-putt, this will be a pleasant surprise that will make my house stand out from the competition.
