Before & After

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
WHITE, NAVY AND IT’S ALL GRAVY

Jeremy came with solid design ideas that he knew his mom would love: navy cabinets on the bottom, white cabinets on top, and a white and gray stone running throughout the counter and right up the backsplash. Antique brass fixtures pop through as accents without requiring too much upkeep, while the oversized hood creates a visual feature without becoming overwhelming.

NEW FIREPLACE, OLD-WORLD FEEL

We installed a low-profile, glass fireplace from the Netherlands in the living room to put off plenty of heat, but we kept a very traditional look with beautiful angles and a plaster finish. Modern energy efficiency with a timeless aesthetic: that’s a formula for maximum relaxation.

WONDROUS WALLS

With the extra room off the kitchen, we created a new bedroom to encourage more visits from the grandkids—but we wanted to keep the sophisticated feel of the rest of the house. Custom moulding near the headboard was an easy way to add warmth and style to the room, so that it feels welcoming and comfortable for any guest.
