Congrats are in order for Jonathan and Zooey!
Jonathan and Zooey got engaged this August during their trip to Scotland. Jonathan popped the question during a tour of Edinburgh Castle, where he wove in sweet personal touches that paid homage to their relationship. To celebrate their engagement, we’re sharing a few photos from their special day.
The band starred Major Stevie Small MBE, John Ralph, and Richard Jasper on the bagpipes, as well as Alister Fraser on the side drum, Rhys Gilchrist on guitar, and fantastic vocals by Lindsay Strachan.
The stunning ring features pops of purple and pink.
Edinburgh Castle has a rich history for Jonathan. His uncle was a mason there and helped with the restoration. He toured it many times as a child, so he knew just the spot where he wanted to get down on one knee—one of the highest points with a viewing platform facing the west. A big thanks to the Historic Environment Scotland and Edinburgh Castle for making this such a memorable day for Jonathan and Zooey.
