Terry Crews’ Outdoor Upgrade
Actor, producer, author, and professional athlete Terry Crews wanted to give back to his family’s driver and close friend, Frank. Terry first met Frank after he retired from a very stressful career. Now, Terry describes him as being like an older brother to him and a second father figure to his kids, taking care of Terry’s family like it’s his own.
To show his love and support for Frank, Terry teamed up with us to give him a backyard makeover that elevated his favorite space and helped him achieve his fitness goals. (Frank’s lost over 200 pounds and is on a mission to lose more!) The new backyard oasis features a stylish outdoor kitchen and dining area, a zen fire pit zone, and an immersive poolside gym that boasts top-of-the-line outdoor workout equipment.

Get Moving
Exercising is easier when you have a gym right in your backyard. Different workout stations span the entire length of his yard, each shaded by a gorgeous pergola so that Frank can get moving no matter how intense the California sun gets.
Lounging with the Fishes
Frank’s koi pond was a great feature we wanted to highlight. We added additional outdoor seating nearby and a firepit so that the family can gather late at night and watch both the stars and the swimmers.
California Cooking
Since Frank loves the outdoors so much, we wanted to give him all the creature comforts usually reserved for the indoors. The stainless-steel grill comes equipped with other built-in appliances, like a mini fridge and sink, making it easy and efficient for Frank to cook almost any meal.
