Comedian, actress, producer, and author Tiffany Haddish gave Selena, her best friend of 20 years, a special home renovation. With two children and multiple pets, Selena needed major upgrades to increase her home’s durability, functionality, and style. Working with us, Tiffany surprised Selena with a breathtaking update to her kitchen, living area and guest bathroom.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

A RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Selena loves to cook and entertain friends, so while renovating the kitchen, we took out the kitchen window and moved the cooktop to its spot. Now, the statement hood is still a focal point of the space, but she has a lot more cabinets and countertop space to work with. With the new lighter accents and flooring, the lost light isn’t even noticed.

FIRE AND FOCUS

Before, the old, 1960s-styled hearth and TV fought for attention in the living room. Not only did we decide to install a new floor-to-ceiling fireplace, but we were able to install an inset for the TV. Best of all, when not on, it can double as a piece of art.

SPA DAY, EVERYDAY

Tiffany was determined to help transform Selena’s guest bathroom into a spa-like oasis she could relax in. First, we replaced her dark, blocky, shower with an elegant glass enclosure. Then, we were able to move the toilet next to the shower and add a spacious double vanity.
