Reveal Letter From The Editors: Holiday 2022

Creating together. Ever since we were kids, that’s what we’ve enjoyed most about being twins, about being entrepreneurs, about being builders. We’ve always been able to create something, no matter what it was, with each other. To create is one of the true gifts of this life; to do it with others gives it meaning. 

We focus on togetherness and gathering in these pages, which make up the final issue of Drew + Jonathan Reveal magazine. We do so with profound gratitude for the community you’ve helped create, one that celebrates happy and healthy homes, full of love and laughter and—most important—everyone together.

In the time we’ve spent together as a Drew + Jonathan Reveal family, we’ve experienced huge life moments with you! We welcomed Drew and Linda’s first child with tears of happiness. Jonathan and Zooey moved into their forever home after a lot of sweat (and a few tears, too). Through each issue, we got to share about our family, our friends, people we look up to, and people we put our hope in for the future. What a blessing to have all those wonderful memories preserved in these pages, shared with you.

Drew + Jonathan Reveal has always been rooted in sharing ideas and stories that move us in hopes that you’ll find them useful, joyful, and inspiring. This issue is no different, as we share the story of Drew and Linda’s nature nursery (page 28) and how the family welcomed baby Parker into the world with a mix of old and new pieces.

Designer Carmeon Hamilton opens her heart to talk about finding home after loss (page 34), while actor/director Lena Dunham writes about her process of making a space all her own (page 32). And we’ve included our usual array of DIY pointers, including how to create a hearth for everyone to gather around (page 52), a bar cart that keeps the conversation going (page 50), and even reupholstered chairs to sit on (page 48)!

Of course, the stories don’t end with this issue. We’re gearing up for new seasons of Property Brothers: Forever Home, Celebrity IOU, Brother vs. Brother, and more. We’re continuing the conversation on social media, where we’ll be taking your home questions and sharing more from our worlds. 

And we’re happy to announce that we’re moving much of our home inspiration and advice to DrewandJonathan.com, where we’ll be sharing even more helpful tips and beautiful designs. We can’t wait to welcome you there, our new home base for everything home. We remain incredibly grateful to you, our readers, as well as the creative team and sponsors who helped make each issue of Drew + Jonathan Reveal possible. We’re so thankful that we get to share our stories with you, and we look forward to seeing you around the table once more.
