Property Brothers: Forever Home – Season 7, Episode 6
Midwest Charm in Pasadena: Jasmin and Nick
When Jasmin and Nick found a beautiful turn of the century home on a huge property, it immediately reminded Jasmin of the house where she grew up in the Midwest. They knew it was going to be their forever home, but the layout was choppy and the main living areas needed a huge overhaul.

We went the extra mile to open sight lines in the kitchen, living, and dining areas, so Jasmin, Nick, and their two daughters can truly enjoy their house for decades to come.

Design Highlights

A Modern Farmhouse
Jasmin and Nick loved the rustic charm of the historical home, but they wanted to make sure their personalities still showed through. To do that, we included modern pops of color throughout the place, like with the patterned tile on the fireplace.

A Place for Everything
The dining room is their central hub for everything from meals to coloring time, so it only made sense to add more storage to help control the clutter. The upper shelves provide a place to display their fine china and art pieces while the cabinets keep crayons and other items tucked away.

Island Dreams
Nick always wanted a kitchen island so he and the kids could keep Jasmin company while she cooked. Incorporating that dream, plus adding in new, functioning appliances and a gorgeous farmhouse sink, has made the kitchen a place the entire family can enjoy.
